David Huang Teaching Minister
David Huang is a Bay Area native and remembers when there were farms in Fremont. Things have changed quite a bit since then, but the Bay Area is still his home. He appreciates the diversity here and seeks to become better at communicating God's love and truth through the gospel.
His path to the ministry was a roundabout one. David switched majors three times in UC Davis before he settled on Human Development. His goal was to become a teacher because he works well with children and likes to teach. After becoming a teacher, he found himself more drawn to teaching the Bible than teaching school subjects.
After reading dozens of Christian biographies, he finally took the plunge and went to Western Seminary. There he gravitated to the biblical languages. In addition to going to seminary, he became a youth pastor and loved how he was able to put into immediate practice his seminary training. A year after graduating, he felt the time was right to transition into being a regular pastor. His current passions as a pastor are teaching the Bible, listening to people, extending hospitality, and praying and worshiping with fellow believers.

Statement of Faith
1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired; it is the only infallible, entirely trustworthy, authoritative Word of God. The Bible alone and in its entirety, is the Word of God written and is therefore inerrant in the autographs. 2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God is a Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each an uncreated person, one in essence, equal in power and glory. 3. We believe in the deity and kingship of our Lord Jesus the Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, in His bodily resurrection on the third day, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory as King. 4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people it is by faith in our Lord Jesus the Christ and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. 5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and purposed to witness and work for the ministry of the Kingdom. 6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. 7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus the Christ with Jesus as the head of the church, who dwells amongst the saints, and the evidence of that unity being shown by how we love one another.
Leadership Vision
Every church has a part to play in a common purpose for the ministry of gospel of Jesus Christ for the Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. This is how we describe our approach, our part, our call, our style.
Philosophy of Ministry
Full-time Ministers: We all play a part, we all serve, we bring what we have and give to one another.
Empowered Start-up: Like a R&D Lab. Take a chance, calculated risks. Developing bold approaches to ministry utilizing the resources and technology available to us.
Gospel-centered / Missional: Young Adults and young families in the Silicon Valley and beyond.
Post-Numbers: Faithfulness is key. Focusing on the deeper letting others focus on the wider. Ministry success is driven by being faithful rather $ and #'s. Remaining a community of 50-100 people that grow other 50-100 communities.
Strategic Collaboration: We are not alone, we want to come alongside church, para-churches, missions, and social justice organization and help where we can.

Theme: "Eternal Ambition"
"So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
" So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him" 2 Corinthians 5:92012
Eternal Ambition
Evaluation of the trajectory of our aims/ambitions
Concentrated Aim to please God
Remaining in the spiritual, unseen state while in the world
